Agustina Hobbs

Agustina was born in Healdsburg, California and raised in Mendoza, Argentina. From a young age, she joined her father on visits to vineyards and industry events – experiences that sparked a lifelong passion for the inner
workings of the wine world. As a teenager, she moved to the East Coast for school, where her interest in food, wine, and hospitality deepened.

Her education took her to the East Coast, where she earned a degree in Enology and Viticulture from Cornell University, her grandparents’ alma mater. Later, she gained hands-on experience working harvests in Cahors, France, and Mendoza, Argentina. She then expanded her global perspective through sales roles in Japan and Hong Kong. Most recently, she spent seven years in New York City working for a distributor, where she managed regional sales and proudly championed her family’s wines among a broader portfolio.

Today, Agustina brings a global sensibility to ALH and a fresh take on what a wine brand can be.

"ALH is a personal expression of my roots—shaped by my family’s values and pioneering work in Napa Valley. I created this wine to honor that legacy and to bring people of all generations together around the table.”
